Impacts of Environmental Regulations on Trade and Competitiveness: A Screening Analysis of the Textile Industry in Syria- Phase II 

The aim of the study was to conduct through a rapid assessment, a screening analysis about the textile industry in Syria and the sensitivity of its production and competitiveness to cost changes induced by domestic and foreign environmental regulations.The final output of the study was a report with supporting data showing the findings. The latter was presented in an in-country roundtable discussion.

Investment Planning Project - Environment

The ultimate goal of the project is to assist the government in more efficient management of the environment ensuring sustainable development of the country.  Envirotech, in association with MVV Energie AG (Germany) and Carl Bro Group will create the urgently needed framework for the integration of environmental objectives as a regular element of day-to-day decision making at all governmental and municipal levels to foster the sustainable development of the country.
